Secondary School
Een schooljaar loopt in Uganda van februari t/m december. December en januari is voor hen de zomervakantie en is de school gesloten.
Na Primary School (= onze basisschool) komt Secondary School en daarna Vacational School. Hiervan liggen de bedragen aanmerkelijk hoger en variëren van 450 euro tot soms wel 700 euro per jaar Een fors bedrag en daarom zijn we het varkensproject gestart, waarmee de ouders zelf een bijdrage kunnen gaan leveren. Als u een kind sponsort vanaf Primary School, krijgt u, als uw kind Primary 7 bereikt, bericht van ons. Kinderen in Primary 7 gaan altijd in boarding om zo goed mogelijk voorbereid te zijn op de komende examens. Als uw kind nog niet in boarding is, wordt u vanaf dat moment gevraagd uw bijdrage te verhogen naar 250 euro. Na dat jaar gaat uw sponsorkind naar het vervolgonderwijs. Wij vragen dan of u bereid bent om het sponsorbedrag te verhogen naar 450 euro. Een forse verhoging, maar dat is nu eenmaal het minimale bedrag dat nodig is om verder te kunnen leren. U zou dat bijvoorbeeld ook samen met collega's, vrienden of familie kunnen doen. Er is dan in elk geval genoeg tijd om de financiering te regelen.
In elk geval zullen wij er alles aan doen om samen met u alle kinderen naar het vervolgonderwijs te helpen.
Want wat heeft het voor zin om een kind 10 jaar lang te sponsoren en hem of haar daarna terug te sturen de armoede in..... voor Lwengo Kids Foundation absoluut geen optie.

You could also do this together with colleagues, friends or family, for example. In any case, there is then enough time to arrange the financing.
In any case, we will do everything we can to help all children to further education with you.
Because what is the point of sponsoring a child for 10 years and then sending him or her back into poverty ... not an option for Lwengo Kids Foundation.
Studiefonds
In de loop der jaren merken wij dat sponsors toch afhaken op het hoge bedrag wat het vervolgonderwijs nu eenmaal kost. Gevolg daarvan is, dat een aantal studenten eigenlijk niet naar het vervolgonderwijs kunnen. Echter, dat is niet onze doelstelling en wij zullen er altijd alles aan doen om een nieuwe sponsor te vinden. Als dat toch niet lukt, betalen we de kosten voor het betreffende kind zelf.
Naarmate de Stichting groter wordt, komen er echter steeds meer kinderen waarvan de sponsor maar een deel betaalt of helemaal stopt.
Daarom zijn er plannen in ontwikkeling om fondsen te werven die geld willen storten in ons studiefonds.

Study fund
Over the years, we have noticed that sponsors give up on the high amount that further education costs. The consequence of this is that a number of students cannot actually go to further education. However, that is not our goal and we will always do everything we can to find a new sponsor. If that does not work, we will pay the costs for the child in question ourselves.
However, as the Foundation grows, there are more and more children of whom the sponsor pays only part or stops completely.
That is why plans are under development to raise funds that want to deposit money in our study fund.

Hieronder kunt u het aanmeldingsformulier downloaden. Daarop kunt u aangeven wat uw voorkeur heeft. Zodra wij dat ingevuld bij ons binnen krijgen, gaan we er mee aan het werk om alle gegevens betreffende de student bij u te krijgen. De informatie bestaat uit wat achtergronden en foto's zover we die nu hebben.
Uiteraard houden wij u tijdens uw sponsoring op de hoogte van de vorderingen.
